Dianna D. Tack
Dianna D. Tack, 71, of Butler passed away on Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 23, 1947, in Kittanning, and was a daughter of the late Perle W. Powell and the late Nellie N. Chandler Powell.
Dianna graduated from East Brady High School in 1965. She then went on to graduate in 1968 from Butler Hospital School of Nursing.
Dianna worked as a registered nurse for Evergreen Nursing Center in Harmony.
She was a member at Zion Lutheran Church in Chicora.
Dianna enjoyed gardening, but especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren.
Dianna is survived by her husband, Homer, whom she married on June 7, 1968; one daughter, Rhonda Tack (Brian Coroian) of Chicora; one son, Michael Tack of Butler; two grandchildren, Chandler Tack and Richard Greygor; two sisters, Mona Powell Rupert of Worthington, Pa., and Phyllis (Michael) Gattos of Cranberry Township; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Powell of East Palestine, Ohio, and Eleanor Tack of Butler; her brother-in-law, Newton (Mary Ellen) Tack of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, George Powell; one nephew, Michael Powell; and her in-laws, Homer Tack Sr. and Eleanor.
TACK — Friends of Dianna D. Tack, who died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis R.
