Rare Scotch whisky will be auctioned
HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board plans to auction two bottles of rare Scotch whisky: a Macallan 1949 Single Malt bottled in 2002 (minimum bid $25,000) and a Macallan 1989 Single Malt bottled in 2010 (minimum bid $9,000).
The state acquired the bottles through a supplier.
Sealed bids will be accepted through 4 p.m. April 5. Bidders must be able to pick up bottles at a state liquor store.
