Pedestrian struck by car in Concord Twp dies Saturday night
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday night at the intersection of Oneida Valley and Hooker roads in Concord Township, according to first responders. Few details were available about the accident Sunday afternoon. The crash is under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police.
Crash investigators were called to the scene along with volunteer fire departments from West Sunbury and North Washington.
Chief Bruce Confer of the North Washington VFD said fire crews assisted with closing down and clearing Oneida Valley Road. He said the firefighters also helped light the scene for state troopers during their investigation.
