Butler Township officials are asking residents to fill out online surveys about its recycling program and volunteer fire department.

Students in Slippery Rock University’s public relations program are conducting the surveys. One survey is aimed at gathering information the students will use to promote the recycling program, especially the household hazardous waste and electronics recycling.

Information from the second survey will be used to help recruitment efforts for the Butler Township volunteer Fire District. Links to both of the brief surveys can be found on the township website and Facebook page.
