Ronald W. Deemer

Ronald W. Deemer, 73, of Cranberry Township passed away on Wednesday after a short illness.

Ron was born on April 28, 1945, and was a son of the late Vernard Avery and Doris Viola Deemer.

Ron served in the U.S. Army from 1968 until 1972, and went on to travel the country as a truck driver for 16 years. He later retired from the Cranberry Township Department of Public Works after 26 years of service.

He enjoyed travel and camping with his family, gardening and playing with his grandson.

He will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy L. (Crider) Deemer, to whom he was married for 36 years; a daughter, Ashleigh Deemer; and a son-in-law, Chris Miller; his grandson, Axel Miller; a sister, Donna (Jim) Brown; and a brother, Jeff (Debbie) Deemer.

He also is survived by his nieces and nephews, Jimmy Brown, Jeffrey Deemer, Destiney Deemer and Clinton Deemer.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; and his niece, Susan Cravener (Brown).

DEEMER — Family and friends of Ronald W. Deemer, who died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.Interment will follow in Pinewood Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron's name to the American Lung Association in Pittsburgh.Please visit www.devlinfuneralhome.com.
