Elizabeth J. Hadfield Rasp

Elizabeth J. Hadfield Rasp, 93, of Evans City passed away Friday morning in Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born May 21, 1925, in Steubenville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Addison Hadfield.

She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Evans City.

Betty retired from MSA with 22 years of service.

She loved reading and watching football, especially the Steelers. She was very proud that she was a lifelong Democrat.

She is survived by one sister, Joan Spada of Irwin; one brother, Robert Hadfield of Philadelphia; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, William Rasp, who died on Oct. 15, 2006; and one sister, Barbara Lang.

RASP — The family of Elizabeth J. Hadfield Rasp, who died Friday, Jan. 25, 2019, will receive friends and relatives from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 114 W. Spring St., Zelienople.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the funeral home.Interment will be in the Evans City CemeteryAdditional information may be obtained at www.kinsey-volzfuneralhome.com.
