Vera Jean Peace
Vera Jean Peace, 82, of Cabot passed away Friday at Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.
She was born Oct. 14, 1936, in Tunnelton, to the late Arthur M. Coffman and the late Margaret J. Adams Coffman.
Mrs. Peace was a longtime resident of Portersville.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Peace enjoyed reading, crocheting, bike riding, and luncheons with her girl friends.
She is survived by one son, Michael J. Peace of Butler; one daughter, Mary Ann Peace and David Scarnati of Mentor, Ohio; three grandchildren, Jimmy Peace, John (Kristin) Peace, Shawna Peace (Alec) Nebel; two great-grandchildren, Mia Peace and Camryn Nebel; one brother-in-law, John Peace of Stuart, Fla.; one sister-in-law, Mary Lou Peace of Stuart, Fla.; and two nieces; and two nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Peace, whom she married on June 7, 1958, and who passed away on Feb. 5, 2016.
