Bear harvest down
HARRISBURG — The 2018 Pennsylvania bear harvest came in at 3,153, lowest total in the state in the past 11 years, the state Game Commission reports.
Seventy bears weighed 500 pounds or more, 20 weighing 600 pounds or more.
There were 26 bears harvested in 2018, compared to 17 in 2017.
