William J. Stehle

William J. Stehle, 65, of Tidioute, Pa., formerly of Mars passed away on Wednesday.

Born July 31, 1953, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Audrey Eperthener Stehle and the late Herman Stehle.

He was a member of St. Kilian Church and was also active in Mars Area Girls Softball, where he had served as president.

Surviving are his mother, Audrey Eperthener Stehle of Mount Washington; his daughters, Rochelle (Thomas) Bender of Fawn Township, and Melissa (Charles) Petredis of Center Township; his sons, William J. (Debra) Stehle Jr. of Franklin Park, and Adam P. (Temple) Stehle of Saxonburg; his sisters, Susan (Harry) Cooper of Atwood Lake, Ohio, and Deborah Sullivan of Evans City; and his brothers, Thomas (Sandra) Stehle of Middlesex Township, and Steven Stehle of Tidioute.

He is also survived by nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. “Trish” Amaditz Stehle, whom he married on Aug. 18, 1973, and who died Aug. 13, 1998.

STEHLE — Friends of William J. Stehle, who died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

Services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Charles Bober officiating.
