Kristine “Kris” M. (Salvatora) Mabold

Kristine “Kris” M. (Salvatora) Mabold, 57, of Oakland Township, Butler County, passed away on New Year's Day at her home.

Born Nov. 30, 1961, in Butler, Kris was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

As a registered nurse, Kris touched the lives and hearts of many, especially the hearts of the children in her care.

Aside from spending time with her family, in her spare time Kris loved to bake cakes and cookies, hold frequent yard sales and decorate for holidays. She looked forward to the Big Butler Fair, where she served in various roles related to the 4-H clubs.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Thomas J. Mabold; three children, John T. Mabold, Amanda M. (Steven) Miller and Sara E. Mabold (Joseph Ludwik); and four grandchildren, Katie, Mitchell, Nora and Joey, all of whom she adored.

Kris is also survived by her loving mother, Veronica L. Salvatora; her sister, Andrea Sellers; and her brothers, Dean (Marlene) Salvatora and Roger (Sandy) Salvatora.

She was preceded in death by her son, Samuel Mabold; her brother, Richard Salvatora; and her father, Frank D. Salvatora.

MABOLD — The family of Kristine “Kris” M.
