Doris Loretta Murray
Doris Loretta Murray, 92, of Zelienople passed away on Wednesday while under the care of the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.
Born Sept. 17, 1926, in Zelienople, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Rader and Amanda Hartzel Rader.
Doris was a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church, where she participated in the women's choir and volunteered in the school cafeteria. She also belonged to St. Anne's Guild.
In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, painting, playing cards and going on trips to the casino.
Above all, Doris loved spending time with her family, especially during their weekly Sunday lunches. She will be dearly missed.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Edmund P. (Karen) Murray of Zelienople, Roger M. Murray of Zelienople, Douglas E. Murray of Butler, and Timothy F. (Diane) Murray of Allison Park; her brother, George “Gene” Rader of Zelienople; her grandchildren, Nicole (Jeff) Murray, Tyler (Amy) Murray, Benjamin (Amber) Murray, Stephen (Ashley) Murray, Luke Murray, Ryan Murray and Julia Murray; and her great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Brayden, McKenna and soon-to-be, Grayson.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund C. “Ed” Murray, who passed away on June 26, 2013; her son, Daniel J. Murray; her sisters, Arlene Lackey and Ethel Mae Hannah; and her brother, John Rader.

MURRAY — Friends of Doris Loretta Murray, who died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W.
