LaVaune E. Matuszewski
LaVaune E. Matuszewski, 78, of Fenelton passed away on Tuesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born June 7, 1940, in Center Township, and was a daughter of the late LeRoy G.T. Voland and the late Emma B.C. Heist.
LaVaune was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She is survived by one son, Daniel Paul Matuszewski of Fenelton; one grandson; one brother, Carl Voland of Butler; one sister, Joyce Voland of Butler; and number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley B. Matuszewski, whom she married on Feb. 28, 1959, and who passed away on March 18, 2006; and one son, Michael Howard Matuszewski.
MATUSZEWSKI — Friends of LaVaune E. Matuszewski, who died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Dr. Rev. Alden Towberman of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating.Private burial will take place in North Liberty Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W.
