Viola M. Blinn
Viola M. Blinn, 100, of Zelienople passed away Thursday while under the care of the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.
Born Nov. 10, 1918, in New Sewickley Township, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Zahn and Anna Householder Zahn.
Viola was a member of St. John's Burry's Church.
She was a former member of the Big Knob Grange.
In addition to being an expert quilter, she also sold Christmas trees for 43 years.
She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Mary Lee (Don) McElhaney of Hookstown, Jim Blinn of Cocoa, Fla., Donna (Billie) Bennett of Volant, Peggy (Shane) Brandt of Harmony, and Randy (Belinda) Blinn of Zelienople; her sister, Bertha Schaub; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Viola was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Blinn; her daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Robert Wahl; her brother, Russell Zahn; and two grandchildren.
BLINN — Friends of Viola M. Blinn, who died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
