Raymond A. Marburger Jr.
Raymond A. Marburger Jr., 60, of Jackson Township passed away Dec. 16 in the comfort of his home.
Born Feb. 12, 1958, in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, he was the son of Raymond A. Marburger Sr. and Teresa Devereaux Marburger.
Ray was a 1976 graduate of Seneca Valley High School.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Kilauea, a supply ship that traveled all over the world.
He retired as a prison guard at the Pennsylvania State Correctional Institution at Graterford in Philadelphia after 25 years.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and mowing the lawn. He also enjoyed firearms.
Ray will be dearly missed.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Raymond A. Marburger Sr. and Teresa Marburger of Zelienople; his sisters, Lisa A. Marburger of Zelienople, Karen (Jack) Sharrar of Harmony, and Christina (Shawn) Vincent of Leeper, Pa.; his brothers, Gerry (Donna) Marburger of Saxonburg, and Dale Marburger of Oklahoma; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
MARBURGER — A blessing service for Raymond A. Marburger Jr., who died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
