CRANBERRY TWP — To kick off National Blood Donor Month, a blood drive is scheduled Friday in the township.

The drive will take place from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Cranberry Elks Lodge No. 2249, 20720 Route 19. Those participating will receive a free knit beanie cap while supplies last.

The drive is being conducted by Vitalant, formerly the Central Blood Bank.
