Herman Rounce

Herman R. Rounce, 75, of Fenelton passed away Friday at his home.

Born Jan. 24, 1943, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Richard Henry and Florence Esther (Thieleman) Rounce.

Herman was a truck driver for many years and worked for Lakeshore Enterprises in Michigan.

He loved his dogs and will be remembered as being a devoted husband and father.

His memory will be cherished by his son, Ben Rounce, and his wife, Jodi, of Elk River, Minn.; two daughters, Tracy Ewaldt and her husband, Thomas, of Marinette, Wis., and Penny Walker and her husband, Dan, of Foster City, Mich.; a stepson, Donald Furey of Fenelton; a granddaughter, Marissa Laporte; and a brother, Robert Rounce and his wife, Debbie, of Darlington, Pa.

Herman was preceded in death by his parents; his loving of wife of 30 years, Patricia L. Furey Rounce, whom he married June 24, 1988, and who died October 13, 2018; and a sister, Joan Vanatta.

ROUNCE — A committal service for Herman R. Rounce, who died Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Butler County Memorial Park, 380 Evans City Road, Butler, with the Rev. Edward A. Walters officiating.Arrangements are being handled by Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.bauerfuneral.com.
