High winds knock out power to 1,600 West Penn customers in Butler County
As 2019 began, more than 1,600 West Penn Power customers in Butler County were left in the dark by the windstorm that pounded Western Pennsylvania.
Most of the outages were in Summit Township (548 customers), Prospect Borough (273), Slippery Rock Township (208) and Jefferson Township (199).
