Thomas R. Ennis, 72, of West Sunbury, formerly of Cranberry Township, passed away Sunday while under the care of the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Thomas was born July 22, 1946, to the late William N. Ennis and the late Bertha Baskait Ennis.

He was a welder at Woodward Fabricating in Mars for more than 40 years.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Ida Ennis; one daughter, Peggy Ennis of Cranberry Township; two sons, Tom Ennis of North Carolina and Rick Ennis of Reynoldsville; one stepdaughter, Tracy (Matt) Albert of Parker; one stepson, Jim (Kristy) Donaldson of Calif.; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty, Nancy and Margaret; and two brothers, George and William.

Thomas was preceded in death by two sisters.
