Joan L. Clark

Joan L. Clark, 83, of Butler passed away Saturday at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born June 26, 1935, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late William and Etta Scott Clawges.

She was a huge fan of the Pirates and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are two daughters, Robin (Ron) Scarpitti of Newport, N.C., Lila (Duane) Gizienski of West Sunbury; 10 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis “Slick” Clark Jr., who passed away June 7, 2017; a son, James Russell Clark; a daughter, Kathryn L. Kidd; a grandson; a sister; and three brothers.
