Wearing festive green and red colored outfits and Santa hats, employees from the Center for Community Resources hustled through a cold and windy Christmas Eve to hand out some holiday spirit along Main Street in Butler.

Mike Robb, executive director for the center said the cookies brighten many people's day with many stopping to roll down their window to take the tin, and even the ones who don't want the cookies still offer a wave or a honk.

“We're just spreading Christmas cheer,” Robb said.

The tins also contained a magnet with a 24/7 crisis line for those in need. The number is 1-800-292-3866.
