A Butler County girl won first place in a Department of Agriculture poster contest and will be presented with her prize during the upcoming Pennsylvania Farm Show.

Lindsay Lipp, a third grader at Connoquenessing Elementary School, won first place in the age 8 to 11 category of the Strength in Our Diversity 2018 Fair Season Poster Contest.

Lipp, along with the other winners, will be recognized during an award ceremony Jan. 10 during the annual farm show scheduled for Jan. 5-12 at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg.

She is the daughter of Steve and Heather Lipp.
