Jean K. Ludwick, 78, of Middlesex Township, Valencia, passed away on Sunday.

Born April 27, 1940, in Punxsutawney, she was the daughter of the late Boyd and Anna Mae Allenbaugh Himes.

Jean had been the catering manager for the Kaufmann House in Zelienople.

She was a social member of Mars VFW Post 7505.

Surviving are a daughter, Vickie (Bob) Kowalski of Wexford, her grandchildren, Christy (Troy) Kline of Valencia, and Michael (Candace) Mitchell of Evans City; her great-grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Hailie, Kyler and Khloe; and a sister, Louise Flynn of Butte, Mont.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane L. “Pete” Ludwick, whom she married on Sept. 14, 1978, and who died on Aug. 29, 2015; and by a brother, Donald Himes.
