Deborah Anne Geibel

Deborah Anne Geibel, 59, of Butler passed away suddenly Saturday at Sharon Regional Medical Center.

Born March 5, 1959, in Butler, she was a daughter of Janice W. (Oldaker) Geibel and the late Glenn H. “Pee Wee” Geibel.

Debbie was a 1977 graduate of Butler High School.

She had worked at Kmart since age 16, for almost 40 years.

She loved to bowl, read, and spend time with her family, playing cards, having girls nights out and going to Camp Bonniebrook.

She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed playing with the family dog, Rebel.

She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

Surviving are her mother, Janice Geibel; her sister, Brenda Geibel; her adopted sisters, Marcia Osche and Diane Mattace; adopted nephew, Timothy Osche; adopted great-nephew, Elijah Osche; one uncle, Vic Geibel; and her godson, Joey Switzer.

She is also survived by numerous cousins, who Debbie considered brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn “Pee Wee” Geibel; her sister, Michelle “Mickey” Geibel; her aunts and uncles and her godparents, Russell and Helen Geibel, Lauretta and Ralph Christie, Leona and Eugene Farnen, Annabelle Geibel, Marcella and George Schnur, Honey Geibel, Bernie Oldaker and Marion Oldaker.

GEIBEL — Friends of Deborah Anne Geibel, who died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E.
