Clarence E. Scheerbaum

Clarence E. Scheerbaum, 89, of West Deer passed away on Thursday.

Born on May 3, 1929, in Allison Park, he was a son of the late Gilbert and Sarah (McAdam) Scheerbaum.

Clarence was employed by Royston Laboratories in Blawnox for 42 years, retiring in 1991 with the last 15 years as a maintenance supervisor.

He was a longtime member of Pleasant Unity United Presbyterian Church and loved camping and gardening.

He was the husband for 66 years of Jane E. (Cunningham) Scheerbaum; father of Gary (Michele) Scheerbaum and Diane (Lawrence) Reaghard; brother of Janet (Jay) Biery and the late Hazel Lisman, Alvin, Gilbert Jr. and Elmer Scheerbaum; stepgrandfather of Jennifer Culligan; and great grandfather of Camden and Keelan Culligan.

SCHEERBAUM — Friends of Clarence E. Scheerbaum, who died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, where services will be held following visitation at 8 p.m. Saturday.Donations can be made to Pleasant Unity United Presbyterian Church, 101 Millerstown Culmerville Road, Tarentum, PA 15084.Please offer condolences at www.schellhaasfh.com.
