SUMMIT TWP — One car caught fire after a rear-end collision at around 6:45 p.m. Thursday on Route 68 near Route 422.

A woman driving a sedan rear-ended a crossover style vehicle, according to state police.

Troopers said no one involved in the accident was hospitalized.

Most of the vehicle damage was from the fire, according to state police.

Firefighters from Lick Hill Volunteer, Oakland Township Volunteer and Butler City fire departments worked to put out the fiery car.

Work on the scene restricted traffic for about 30 minutes along Route 68 and for both on and off ramps of Route 422.
