SARVER — Buffalo Township Police are looking for a Pittsburgh man with a prosthetic leg who is accused of holding a gun to his girlfriend’s head early Monday morning.

At 6:05 a.m. the woman was headed into work at Assisted Living at Rosebrook in Sarver when Nicolas Domek, 72, came up from behind and held an unknown handgun to her head, according to Chief Tim Derringer of Buffalo Township police.

Derringer said the woman fought off Domek and was able to run away and call 911.

Domek was last known to be leaving the scene in a red Chevrolet Cruze with handicapped registration 729-07-PD.

According to emergency dispatch, Domek has balding hair and blue eyes.

He is considered armed and dangerous. He is not to be approached.
