Paul D. Cumblidge

Paul D. Cumblidge, 74, of Summit Township passed away Friday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

Paul was born Oct. 24, 1944, in Butler, and was the son of the late Ernest and Vera (Bowser) Cumblidge.

He attended Williamsport Technical Institute to become a machinist and worked for the Wise Machine Company, retiring in 2008.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Judy (Miller) Cumblidge, who passed away Jan. 10, 2007. Paul's proudest accomplishment with his wife was together raising eight children and their youngest grandchild.

Survivors also include his daughter, Jill Rose of Butler; two sons, Stephen Cumblidge of Bethesda Md., Michael Cumblidge, of Butler; five stepchildren, Michelle (Paul) Smith, Billie Jo Bowers, Bonnie Oliver, Charlie Lucas and Ryan Bowers; 15 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.

CUMBLIDGE — Friends of Paul D. Cumblidge, who died Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, will be received by the family from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.A service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor James A.
