Butler native Kelly joins Astros staff
HOUSTON, Tx. — Butler native and former Pittsburgh Pirate Don Kelly has been hired as first base coach of the Houston Astros.
Kelly, 38, played college baseball at Point Park. He spent nine years in the major leagues.
Since his playing career ended in 2016, he had served as a scout with the Detroit Tigers.
