John V. Giallombardo, 71, passed away in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on Wednesday.

He was born Sept. 28, 1947, in Mars, to Vincent and Magdalen (Sinz) Giallombardo.

John is survived by his wife, Vicki Giallombardo; his daughters, Cheyenne Johnson and Cherokee Tuttle; his son, Damian Pond; his mother, Magdalen Giallombardo; his brothers, James, William (Bonnie), Stephen (Colleen) and Richard (Susan) Giallombardo; his sisters, Rose (George) Smith and Mary (Art) Dufford; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other family and friends.
