Michael Robert Pflugh
Michael Robert Pflugh, 35, of Karns City passed away on Thursday at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born Dec. 28, 1982, in Grove City, he was the son of Frederick and Kandy Pflugh.
Michael was a graduate of Moniteau High School.
He served proudly in the U.S. Army from 2004 until 2008, and was deployed during the war in Iraq.
He was employed by Advanced Edge LLC as a laborer.
Michael was a member of American Legion Post 243 and Cherry Valley VFW Post 7840. He was also a member of the Veteran Commandos Motorcycle Club.
Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his ATV. He loved Pittsburgh sports; the Steelers, the Pirates and the Penguins. He went to the races every Friday.
He was a big-hearted man who was generous and possessed a great laugh.
His final act of generosity was electing to be an organ donor, helping many others. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
In addition to his parents, Michael leaves behind to cherish his memory his siblings, Chanta Pflugh of Karns City, and Chris Hindman of Callensburg; his fiancée, Pamela Hosler of Eau Claire; his children, Kade and Zoe at home; his maternal grandfather, Donald Shearer of Butler; his niece and nephew, Sidney and Blaze; and numerous loving aunts and uncles.
Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Audrey Shearer; his paternal grandparents, Frances and Frank Miller; along with other beloved family and friends.
Mike's family would like to express their appreciation to all family and friends for their prayers and support.
