E. Jean Weckerly

E. Jean Weckerly, 90, of Grove City, formerly of Emlenton and Perryville, passed away Tuesday morning at the VNA Inpatient Care Center in Butler following a period of declining health.

Born Feb. 2, 1928, in Clarion, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Mildred Lieder Wolfe.

She was married on June 8, 1946, to John (Jack) Weckerly who passed away June 19, 2005.

Protestant by faith, Jean loved to practice the art of crochet as long as her health permitted.

She is survived by a daughter, Christine (Chris) Bartley and her husband, James, of Niles, Ohio; three sons, Larry Weckerly of Emlenton, John Weckerly of Ebensburg, and Daniel Weckerly of Clarion; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her sister, Cindy Burkey of Champion, Ohio; her brother, Harold Wolfe of Marlboro, Mass.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Sue Weckerly; her sisters, Ethel Yingling and Pat Morris; and her brother, Frank Wolfe.

WECKERLY — Friends of E. Jean Weckerly, who died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018, may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 S.
