Dolores J. Calderone Carey
Dolores J. Calderone Carey, 92, of Goose Creek, S.C., formerly of Butler, passed away on Wednesday.
Dolores was born Jan. 31, 1926, in Jeannette, Pa., and was a daughter of the late James and Lula Calderone.
Dolores worked for Budget Appliance, Fisher Big Wheel, Hills, Ames and Kmart.
She enjoyed plastic canvas crafting.
She was a longtime member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Colleen Carey (Stephen) Giallombardo of Goose Creek, S.C.; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; her brother, William Calderone of Youngwood, Pa.; and her sisters, Janice Hill of Pensacola, Fla., and Sally Clark of Lincolnton, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley E. Carey; and their children, twins, John Charles and Judith Ann, Linda Roman, Nancy Rearick and Daniel Carey; her sisters, Josephine Brown and Evelyn Tomcanin; and her brother, James Calderone Jr.
CAREY — Friends of Dolores J. Calderone Carey, who died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.St. Paul's Catholic Women and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday to recite the rosary.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday from St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean St., Butler, with the Rev.
