Fire destroys Venango Twp. home
A small home on Woods Road in a rural area of Venango Township was a total loss at the noon hour on Monday, when flames swept through the entire building.
VENANGO TWP —Daylight could be seen through the front windows and door of a home on Woods Road in Venango Township on Monday after fire swept through the building.
A confused doberman pinscher also could be seen roaming the rural property.
Firefighters from Bruin, North Washington, Eau Claire, Marion and Emlenton volunteer fire departments battled the blaze.
Neither the fire's origin nor whether the occupants were at home was immediately known.
