Hazel F. Grosclaude
Hazel F. Grosclaude, 97, of Butler passed away on Monday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born Oct. 26, 1920, in Chicora, and was a daughter of the late Craig Thompson and the late Mary Welsh Thompson.
Hazel worked with her husband, Pierre, in his auto repair and sales business.
She enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially fishing in Canada.
Hazel was a member of Grace at Calvary Lutheran Church.
She is survived by one son, James (Brenda) Grosclaude of Butler; one daughter-in-law, Karen Grosclaude of Prospect; four grandchildren, Brian and Christopher Grosclaude, Randy Grosclaude and Marcella Shay; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; two step great-great-grandsons; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pierre Grosclaude, whom she married on Jan. 28, 1943, and who passed away on Oct. 21, 2017; one son, Thomas Grosclaude; and three sisters, Grace Sutton, Naomi Harper and Ruth Slaugenhaupt.
GROSCLAUDE — There will be no public visitation or funeral services for Hazel F.
