Charlotte Ann Zuzak
Charlotte Ann Zuzak of Grove City passed away Tuesday following a brief illness. She was 79.
Charlotte was born on Sept. 27, 1939, in Flint, Mich., to Ralph W. and Lois N. (Heffron) Knuth. She married Dr. Charles A. Zuzak on Aug. 14, 1963. He survives at home.
She was a member of St. Peter Parish in Slippery Rock.
Charlotte received a B.A. from Albion College, her M.A. from the University of Michigan, and a language proficiency certificate from Comenius University at Bratislava, Slovakia.
Charlotte taught Spanish at Penn State University. For many years, she was the organist at the Church of the Beloved Disciple.
She accompanied students in the music department at Grove City College.
In addition to her husband, Charles, she is survived by a daughter, Dr. Kimberly B. Zuzak and her wife, Dr. Ana D. Burgos, of Kensington, Md.; two grandchildren, Olivia Grace and Hannah Isabella Zuzak-Burgos; and a sister, Jane Strader and her husband, Robert, of Homosassa, Fla.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents.
ZUZAK — Visitation hours for Charlotte Ann Zuzak, who died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Catholic Church, 670 S. Main St., Slippery Rock, with the Rev.
