Cranberry schedules forum to address speeding vehicles
Cars speeding through residential neighborhoods have been an evergreen complaint of Cranberry Township residents.
Dealing with them has also been a priority for township traffic engineers and law enforcement personnel.
At 6:30 p.m. Nov. 13, township Manager Jerry Andree and staff members will gather with residents at Cranberry’s Public Works garage to examine the issue in a forum titled “What’s the Rush?”
Among the topics discussed will be an explanation of the techniques currently used to slow traffic, a demonstration of law enforcement tools which are currently available to address the issue and an exploration of the psychology of speeding as well as of the perception of speeding.
No reservations are necessary. However, for planning purposes, officials said an RSVP to 724-776-4806, Ext. 1089, would be appreciated.
