George E. McKinney

George E. McKinney, 84, of Jackson Township passed away on Wednesday while under the care of the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

Born Sept. 16, 1934, in Callery, he was the son of the late George L. and Edna Mincer McKinney.

George was a member of the Crestview Community Church in Callery.

He retired as a machinist from Pittsburgh Plug.

He loved music, cars, puzzles and pets.

George will be dearly missed.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his niece, Pam Greenawalt and her husband, Dave, of Zelienople; his nephew, Rick Beahm and his wife, Joyce, of Evans City; and his great-nephews, Cody, Ethan and Derrick Beahm.

He also leaves behind his first cousin and friend, Maxine Smith of Evans City; and many other cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Don Beahm.

MCKINNEY — Friends of George E. McKinney, who died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018, will be received from noon until the time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. Sunday at Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City, with the Rev. Rosalyn Kummer officiating.He will be laid to rest at Butler County Memorial Park.Memorial donations may be made in his honor to the VNA Inpatient Hospice, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA 16001.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
