Barbara D. Augustine, 74, of Butler passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday morning.

Born Jan. 7, 1944, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of the late Naomi and William “Paul” Pittman.

Barbara was a loving, selfless and nurturing woman, always putting others before herself.

She enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking and baking, especially her delicious pies.

Surviving are her three children, Ed (Joyce) Augustine of Fenelton, Diane (Rick) Seybert of Saxonburg, and Fred “John” (Christi) Augustine of Valencia; her grandchildren, Allen Seybert, Erika (Chris) McCullough, Jacob, Eddie, Sara and Tunch Augustine; her great-grandchildren, Erik, Blake and Karson Seybert; her siblings, Norman (Dolly) Pittman, Thelma (Fred) Seybert, Val Jean Seybert and Doreen Donaldson; and her sisters-in-law, Debbie (Rich) Kenny, Carol (Larry) Gray, Alice Bajcz and Flo Augustine.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Augustine III, whom she married on Aug. 25, 1961, and who died on July 31, 2012; and her brothers-in-law, Ronald Seybert, Bob Donaldson, Harry Bajcz and Donald Augustine.

AUGUSTINE — Friends of Barbara D. Augustine, who died Friday, Sept. 21, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Steiner officiating.Directions and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
