Norman J. Lang

Norman J. Lang, 81, of Saxonburg passed away Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Aug. 26, 1937, in Saxonburg, he was the son of Joseph A. Lang Sr. and Minnie Mae Johnston Lang.

Norm served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958.

He worked as a laborer at the U.S. Steel Sintering Plant in Saxonburg until its closing.

He was a former member of the Buffalo Valley Sportsman's Club and the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Co.

He enjoyed woodworking, painting, gardening, hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Katharina Feige Lang, whom he married Dec. 13, 1958; his son, Randolph Lang of Saxonburg; and one brother, Conrad Lang Sr. of Saxonburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, John G. Lang; one brother, Joseph A. Lang Jr.; and one sister, Dolores Jenkins.

LANG — Friends of Norman J. Lang, who died Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W.
