Martin J. Martin

Martin J. Martin, 53, of Butler passed away Thursday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

He was born Dec. 28, 1964, in Butler, and was the son of the late Joel Martin and the late Lillian Jean Smith Martin Mahlmeister.

Martin was a self-employed contractor.

He is survived by his six sisters, Donna J. Martin of Butler, Jackie Keefer of Butler, Jayne Martin of Port Lavaca, Texas, Rita Huff and her husband, Tom, of Chicora, Anna Herman of Butler and Tanyia Card and her husband, Ralph, of Butler; one brother, Ben Martin of Butler; a number of nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great-nephews; his stepmother, Ginger Martin of Butler; and his best friend, Raymond Leon of Butler.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Martin; and his nephew, Joel Fobes.

MARTIN — Friends of Martin J. Martin, who died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at St. John's Reformed Church, 334 W. Slippery Rock St., Chicora.A memorial service will be held immediately following at 7 p.m. at the church with the Rev.
