Candice Fawn Lawson Cady
Candice Fawn Lawson Cady, 35, of Butler flew with the angels Aug. 18 from Allegheny General Hospital after falling from her third-floor balcony Aug. 9.
Candice was born on Nov. 9, 1982, in Aurora, Colo., and was the daughter of Donna Timblin Lawson and the late Jerry Lawson.
Candice attended the Butler School District.
She worked at Forsythe's Restaurant, Haser's Restaurant, the Butler Color Press and Home Depot in Butler. Her last places of employment were Jottan-Jorel in Evans City, and U.S. Liner in Harmony. She was very efficient and was a hard worker.
Candice loved people and they loved her. She enjoyed swimming and cooking for friends and relatives at her home and for potlucks and reunions. She had a good sense of humor and always had an ear when needed.
We love and will miss her terribly.
Cherishing her memories are her children, Brandon Cady Weitzel and Machaela Brooke Cady, Hilliards; her mother and Ed; her siblings and her nieces and nephews, Cathleen Piche, (Joe), Audriana and Alyssa Piche and Aaron Ray, Michael Lawson, (Amanda), Kaylee Christy, Legend Adamik, Damen and Mikenna Lawson, Matthew Edgington; her maternal grandmother, Virginia Aggas Hobbs; her former husband, Dale Cady; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
CADY — A memorial service for Candice Fawn Lawson Cady, who died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Faith Way, Fared Drive, Butler. Pastor Richard Jenks will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted c/o Donna Lawson. Candice was an organ donor to CORE.
