Dorothy Robison Mihelic

Dorothy Robison Mihelic, 94, formerly of Renfrew passed away on Wednesday. She was most recently a resident of Sunrise of McCandless Senior Living in Pittsburgh.

Born Feb. 26, 1924, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Henry C. Robison and Mary Elizabeth Turney Robison.

Although Dorothy retired from her position as an executive secretary for Mellon Bank, her most important role was that of a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Dorothy leaves behind her children, Barbara Neeld and her husband, Donald, of Pittsburgh, and Edward L. Mihelic Jr. of Boyers; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Mihelic, whom she married on Jan. 18, 1947, and who passed away on Sept. 22, 2013; and two daughters, Marianne Motsko and Carrie Mihelic.

MIHELIC — Friends of Dorothy Robison Mihelic, who died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Boylan Funeral Home of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Butler, with the Rev. William D. Wuenschel celebrant. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church.Dorothy will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Butler.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
