Ida V. Kudamik

Ida V. Kudamik, 89, formerly of Evans City passed away on Monday of natural causes.

Born Jan. 29, 1929, in North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, she was the daughter of the late John and Alvera Farinelli.

She was a longtime and dedicated parishioner, volunteer and staff member of St. Matthias Catholic Church in Evans City.

She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

Ida leaves behind to cherish her memory her five daughters, Alvera (Ronald) Blinn of Evans City, Karen Kudamik of Pensacola, Fla., Venida (Gary) Kleemann of Butler, Colleen (Robert) Colasanti of Pensacola, Fla., and Cheryl (Robert) Bartos of Harmony; her brothers, George Farinelli of Texas, and Paul Farinelli of Kittanning; her sister, Caroline Urnosky of Florida; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ida was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Vendel Kudamik Jr., to whom she was married from 1950 until his passing in 2002; one son, Vendel Kudamik III; seven brothers; and three sisters.

KUDAMIK — Friends of Ida V. Kudamik, who died Monday, Sept. 3, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople.She will be laid to rest at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Butler.Memorial donations may be made in Ida's honor to a charity of the donor's choice.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
