Eleanor Jean (Good) Brown-Connelly

Eleanor Jean (Good) Brown-Connelly, 88, of Kennedy Drive, Northam-pton, Allen Township died peacefully Friday morning at the VNA Hospice of St. Luke's in Bethlehem.

She was the wife of Ronald C. Connelly Sr., since Jan. 25, 1974, and was the wife of the late Walter B. Brown, who passed away in 1972.

She was born in Butler and was a daughter of the late Frank Miller and Rella (McKay) Good-Miller.

Eleanor was employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs in Bay Pines, Fla., for 21 years, retiring in 1992.

Previously, she had worked for Butler County VA Hospital as an audiology and speech secretary.

She was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neffs, Pa.

Eleanor was a 1948 graduate of Butler High School.

She was a senior water aerobics instructor at the Jewish Community Center in Allentown and the Parkland School District for more than 10 years.

Survivors include her husband; her daughters, Ronna Jean, the wife of Marty White, of Erie, Theresa Ann, the wife of Jeff Geisel, of Schnecksville, Pa.; her sons, Zane E. and his wife, Donalee Brown, of Mountain Lakes, N.J., Gregory S. and his wife, Jennifer Brown, of Fairfield, Calif., Ronald C. Jr. and his wife, Lisa Connelly, of Butler, Bruce M. and his wife, Gretchen Brown, of Pittsburgh, and Timothy A. and his wife, Cal Brown, of Leesburg, Va.; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, William A. Good of Hadley, Pa.

BROWN-CONNELLY — Calling hours for Eleanor Jean (Good) Brown-Connelly, who died Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, were held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, Pa.Additional calling hours will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Union Lutheran Church, 5550 PA Route 873, Schnecksville, Pa., where services will take place at 11 a.m.Interment will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday at Butler County Memorial Park, 380 Evans City Road, Butler.In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to St. Luke's Hospice, c/o the funeral home.Online condolences can be made to www.schislerfuneralhomes.com.
