DOUG KOSTELANSKY and CAMDEN SEYBERT (Butler), freshmen on the Point Park men’s cross country team, ran times of 26 minutes, 44 seconds and 27:53, respectively, at the Louisville Sports Commission Cross Country Classic, an 8,000-meter race.
KATIE McCLYMONDS (Slippery Rock, Portersville Christian), a junior on the Grove City College volleyball team, had 13 digs and two aces in the Wolverines’ 3-0 win over Saint Vincent. She added 17 digs in a 3-0 loss to Westminster.
SAM HENSON (Seneca Valley), a senior linebacker on the Grove City College football team, intercepted a pass in the Wolverines’ 31-21 win over Carnegie Mellon.
LUKE SALERNO (Karns City), a junior linebacker for the Grove City College football team, shared the team lead with seven tackles in the Wolverines’ win over CMU.
ANGELA SEMAN (Seneca Valley), a senior libero on the University of Pittsburgh volleyball team, had 11 digs Sunday in the No. 8 Panthers’ 3-1 win over Florida State Sunday. Pitt is 15-0 and off to the best start in program history.
