Rose Marie Genco Weitzel

Rose Marie Genco Weitzel, 65, of Butler City passed away on Tuesday while under the care of the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

Born April 15, 1953, in Lawrenceville, she was the daughter of the late James A. Genco and Caroline Vinciguerra Genco.

Rose was a member at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

She loved to play bingo and have fun, but most of all, Rose loved her home, her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

Rose leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, William (Shelley) Fusaro of Adams Township, David Weitzel of Butler, Timothy Butler of Mount Chestnut, Patricia Fusaro of Lyndora, Roselyn Brace of Butler, Dana Sutton, Lisa (Brian) Blake of Butler, Jouline Walker of Butler, and Tosha Webb of Butler; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Pasquale (Pat) Genco of Pittsburgh, Anthony Genco of Pittsburgh, James (Sandy) Genco of Pittsburgh, Christine (Frank) Palmieri of Pittsburgh, Phyllis Genco of Hollywood, Fla., Josephine (John) DeGrange of North Port, Fla.; her sister-in-law, Sandy Genco; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her first husband, William Fusaro; her second husband, John D. Weitzel; her son, Alfred Sutton; her siblings, Jacqueline Sinicki, Frank Genco, Carmeline Rafalowski, John Genco and James Genco.

WEITZEL — Friends of Rose Marie Genco Weitzel, who died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Boylan Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.A blessing service will be held at noon Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev.
