GROVE CITY — A 55-year-old woman has been jailed on $250,000 bail for allegedly plotting to murder her husband.

State police Wednesday arrested Robin Lee Uber on charges she tried to kill her husband, 55-year-old Jeffrey C. Uber, with a deadly dose of drugs.

District Judge Neil McEwen arraigned Uber on charges of solicitation and conspiracy to commit the crimes of first-degree murder and aggravated assault, and criminal use of a communication facility.

Police said their investigation, which began Sept. 6, determined that the defendant took “a substantial step toward the killing of the victim.”
