William K. “Billy” Dellich III

William K. “Billy” Dellich III

William K. “Billy” Dellich III, 30, of West Sunbury passed away unexpectedly on Sunday at Forbes Regional Health Center in Monroeville.

Billy was born July 16, 1988, in Butler, to William K. Dellich Jr. and Amy Caporali Dellich of West Sunbury.

In addition to his parents, he leaves behind his three beautiful children, Marryjane, Billiejean and William IV; his brother, Heath; his maternal grandparents, Ron and Carol Caporali; his paternal grandfather, William K. Dellich; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Billy was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Shirley Dellich.

A young man with so much to give this world. One of the best heavy equipment operators ever seen. Fueled by adrenaline and diesel, he was the happiest when working with his family pushing dirt and moving ground. A brilliant mind that had a perfect vision of the outcome of the job. Talk about a man that could drive or operate anything! Could fix anything! As honest as they come, wild as could be, daring, stubborn, determined, generous, loyal, adventurous, caring, kind, polite, a great sense of humor, loving, with a huge heart of gold. Always smiling and never held a grudge. He always found something good in everyone! Our Hero. Made friends with everyone, could talk to anyone. Would help anybody with anything. He could talk anybody into anything at least once … sometimes twice, and you never knew if he was trying to get into or out of trouble, but did it with a smile.

His journey was shorter than most, but it was his and his alone. They say only the good die young and that is an understatement here. He wouldn't want anyone to be unhappy because of him. A favorite saying of his that we will miss the most, “Hey, how's it going today?” He always used quotes from songs, so here is ours to him, “It ain't fair you died too young like a story that had just begun, but death tore the pages all away.”

To the best big brother and son, We Love You, we will NEVER forget you and will miss you every day. We know we will see you again and you will be watching over us. Keep sending us signs.
