John F. Prager Jr.

John F. Prager Jr., 74, of Allegheny Township passed away on Sunday at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights.

A son of the late John F. Prager Sr. and Ella Ruth (McCracken) Prager, he was born April 24, 1944, in Natrona Heights.

John enjoyed playing music with Wayne Hart and the band Pure Country, watching the Pirates play, fishing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his two sons, Jason R. Prager of Saxonburg, and John F. Prager III of Allegheny Township; a daughter, Tonia L. (William) Martin of Vandergrift; five grandchildren; a brother, Donald (Jody) Prager of Cleveland, Ohio; and two sisters, Janice (John) Schuller of Sarver, and Betty Bias of Madison, W.Va.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann (Slivan) Prager, who died in June 2009; and a sister, Ruth Ann Berry.

PRAGER — There will be no public visitation for John F. Prager Jr., who died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018.Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.A memorial service will be held later.Arrangements have been entrusted to Clawson Funeral and Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg.Condolences to the Prager family may be offered at www.clawsonfuneralhome.com.
