Dolores A. Bodnar

Dolores A. Bodnar, 85, of Petrolia, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away Wednesday at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born Oct. 19, 1932, in Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of the late George Prycl and the late Stella Rudolph Prycl.

Dolores was of the Catholic faith.

She was an avid bowler at Bruin Lanes and a member of the Young of Hearts.

Dolores loved trips to casinos.

Dolores is survived by two daughters, Linda S. Bodnar Helch of Conneaut Lake, and Mrs. William J. (Karen D.) Yurkovich of Butler; one son, Brian K. Bodnar of Petrolia; and one sister, Lorraine Heiser of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Roland D. Bodnar; one son, Roland J. Bodnar; one son-in-law, Robert J. Helch; and two brothers, Norman and Bobby Prycl.

BODNAR — Family and friends of Dolores A. Bodnar, who died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018, will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.A blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev.
